Our chug has been having a great time learning about leadership and growing as Jews. We are learning about public speaking as well as being self confident. We have been bonding and solving problems as a family. As my counselor says, “It’s a home away from home” Although the camp experience has just begun, there is still a lot of exciting stuff coming. As I am writing this, I am getting ready for Shabat dinner. Our chug will soon be competing in the camp macabee games.
This is not all, trip week is coming up as well as Gimmel and Yom Yarok. In case you don’t know, Yom Yarok is the day when our age group (Hamama) takes over the camp and leads all the activities for the younger age groups. All in all, we are having a great time and I can’t wait for what happens in the future!
