We invite all current Young Judaeans and alumni, parents, grandparents, staff, partners, community leaders, and supporters to a very special conference call briefing on the situation in the Mideast with Gil Troy, a professor of history at McGill University.
Gil, a modern-day Zionist thinker, will be speaking from Jerusalem, where he is a Shalom Hartman Institute Engaging Israel Research Fellow. He is a Young Judaea alum and a member of the board of Young Judaea. His books include "Why I Am a Zionist," and his upcoming, "Moynihan's Moment: America's Fight against Zionism as Racism." Gil's most recent piece, "Sheltered in Jerusalem," an article about the unexpected air raid sirens in the holy city, can be read by clicking here.
